How do I move forward in Sims 4?
The Sims 4 made it possible for you to set your Sim’s life spans to short, medium, or long in the gameplay settings. But, as we all know, time flies and before you know it, your Sims will be aging up.
You can age up your Sim anytime, just by whipping out a birthday cake and having them blow out the candles. Voila! Your Sims will automatically age up into the next life stage, unless they’re already an elder, of course.
Before you go ahead and light those candles, make sure you place that birthday cake in the centre of a table so your Sims can reach it. And, don’t forget to add the birthday candles automatically before your Sims have a chance to take a piece.
Once a piece is taken, you can’t add the birthday candles on to it.
Now, all that’s left for you to do is make a wish or blow out those candles and you’re good to go. And, if you’re ageing up a toddler, you’ll have to get an adult Sim to help them blow out the candles by selecting the option to do so when clicking on the cake. It’s that simple!
